Iran SLAL tenders to buy 200,000 T corn, 200,000 T soymeal

HAMBURG- Iranian state-owned animal feed importer SLAL has issued international tenders to purchase up to 200,000 tonnes of animal feed corn and 200,000 tonnes of soymeal, European traders said on Tuesday.
Offers in the tender must also be submitted on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
SLAL is also tendering separately for 200,000 tonnes of feed barley on Tuesday.
Participation in the tenders is expected to be thin because of the impact on banking and trade finance from sanctions on Iran, traders said.
